Our Mission
Our mission is to drive educational awareness about the plastic problem and show the world that great alternatives actually do exist. We start by creating ethically-made, sustainable and practical products that will reduce the reliance on single-use plastics to help people live more sustainably.
Our goal is to prevent 10 MILLION plastic straws going to landfill by 2024.
What’s going on?
We’ve all seen that viral video of a plastic straw being removed from a turtle’s nostril. Yes, our hearts broke too. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Single-use plastic waste is affecting more than just marine life, it is furthering energy consumption and escalating land and air pollution.
What are we doing?
Sip’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility means that we will always be transparent about our processes, practices and products. We believe that by making small changes, we can make a big impact. Which is why we’re starting small - with a straw.

Not just any straw, a Sip straw is an all natural grain straw made entirely from rice and corn starch.

Rice and corn starch are highly renewable resources. They are two of the easiest grains to grow, and require the least amount of energy to harvest.
